Real Madrid, the most successful football club in Spanish history, has renewed its global sponsorship contract with Puma, extending its partnership through to 2025.

The agreement is worth more than 100 million euros and will see Real Madrid continue to wear Puma's kits on the pitch for the next five years. The deal also includes the possibility of further extensions, meaning that the club could be sponsored by Puma for up to six more years.

This renewal comes after Real Madrid had already signed a new multi-year deal with Adidas in 2019, which saw the club become one of the first major clubs to commit to using only sustainable materials in its kit.

"The renewal of our global sponsorship with Puma marks another important step forward in our commitment to sustainability," said Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid. "We are proud to work with such a respected brand and we look forward to continuing our collaboration over the coming years."

Puma's chief commercial officer, Michael Winkler, added: "Real Madrid is a club that represents everything that is great about sport, from the passion of their fans to the excellence of their players. We are delighted to extend our relationship with them and look forward to working together to help drive the club's continued success."
