Marseille's manager Rudi Garcia has announced that he will remain in charge of the club for the rest of the season.

The Frenchman had previously been linked with a move to other clubs, but has now decided to stay put and lead Marseille to their first title since 2015-16.

Garcia's decision comes after a difficult period for the club, who have struggled to find form this season and currently sit in 14th place in the league table.

However, the manager is confident that Marseille can turn things around and secure a top-four finish this season.

He said: "I am proud to be at Marseille and I want to continue working hard to help the team achieve our goals."

With just six games remaining in the season, Marseille face a tough task if they are to secure a top-four finish. However, Garcia believes that his side can still fight for the title.

"We have a lot of quality players and we need to play as a team," he added. "We have to work together and believe in each other."

Despite the challenges facing the club, Garcia remains optimistic about their chances of success.

"I believe in my team and I know that we can do it," he said. "We have the talent and the experience to win titles."
